　　但昭义

　　但昭义，著名钢琴教育家，教授，中国音乐家协会会员，深圳市及广东省音乐家协会副主席，深圳钢琴学会会长。1964—1995在四川音乐学院任教，1995年10月到深圳艺术学校工作。

　　但昭义出生在一个医生家庭，父亲是一位音乐酷爱者，从小培养孩子们学习音乐。他十四岁考入四川音乐学院附中，先后师从何惠仙，林瑞芝教授学习钢琴。六十年代初被选派赴京进修，师从著名钢琴演奏和教育家周广仁教授，为其一生的钢琴教学事业打下了坚实基础。1964年毕业于四川音乐学院。从教三十多年培养了不少优秀的钢琴演奏人才，其中尤为突出的有李云迪，陈萨，左章等。1994年以来，他的学生16人次在国际比赛中获奖，6次赢得第一名：包括首届中国国际钢琴比赛(少年组)；美国吉娜-巴考尔国际青年艺术家钢琴比赛及同名国际少年钢琴比赛；乌克兰克莱涅夫国际青少年钢琴比赛；柴可夫斯基国际青少年音乐比赛(钢琴)；波兰肖邦国际钢琴比赛等。其中，李云迪所获肖邦比赛金奖和陈萨所获英国利兹比赛第四名都是中国人首次在该两项比赛中取得的高名次。

　　但昭义亦因突出的教学成果而荣获多种荣誉称号，如“优秀教学成果奖”，“广东文化厅优秀教师”，“国际文化荣誉证书”，“杰出成就纪念金牌”等。

　　Dan Zhaoyi

　　Dan Zhaoyi is a famous piano pedagogue in China. He was professor at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music from 1964-1995 and is now teaching at the Shenzhen Arts School.

　　Dan Zhaoyi’s father is a medical doctor, who loves music and influenced his children to study music. Dan Zhaoyi entered the Music School in Sichuan at the age of 14, studying piano with Prof. He Huixian and Lin Ruizhi. In 1960, he went to Beijing to study with Prof. Zhou Guangren who layed the foundation for his piano teaching career. In 1964, he graduated from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music

　　During his more than 30 years’ research on piano teaching, he brought forth many young pianists, particularly in the last ten years asgroupsof brilliant, young performers winning prizes in important international piano competitions emerged out of his class.

　　Most outstanding are Li Yundi, Chen Sa and Zuo Zhang. His students won 16 times in international piano competitions, among them are 6 First Prizes: including the 1st China International Piano Competition (Junior Group), Gina Bachauer Young Artists Piano Competition and Gina Bachauer Junior Group, the Krainev International Youth Piano Competition in Ukraine, the Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians, and at last the Chopin International Piano Competition in 2000,swheresLi Yundi won 1st Prize and Chen Sa won 4th Prize aftershavingswon the 4th Prize at the Leeds Competition in 1996. They are the first Chinese to win such a high prize.

　　For his outstanding achievements Dan Zhaoyi has got awards from Sichuan Province and Guangdong Province. He has been honored with the title “Excellent Teacher” and has been awarded the honorable Certificate for international Culture and a memorial gold medal.
