　　这是一部充满喜剧风格的爱情古装剧，它描写了一个深情感人的爱情故事。作为同名电视剧《武林外传》的前传，本剧延续了其后现代风格，且更多借古讽今，而且将川剧的变脸、喷火、水袖、藏刀以及特有的声腔(高腔)、帮腔等绝技众元素融合一体。并与武林外传题材有机结合，创出一种独特的川剧效果。

　　Brief Introduction:

　　This is an ancient touching and moving love story. The Opera boasts its vivid language, tremendous humor, bright color and profound living atmosphere.

　　From this opera, you can see the unique technique of Sichuan opera, such as changing faces, pouring out fire from mouth, swinging long sleeves and hidden swords. In singing, it also presents features of Sichuan opera, the integration of consummate tunes and vocal accompaniment.
