导演明格拉就担任第11届上海电影节主席致辞

　　新浪娱乐讯 2月8日在柏林电影节, 上海国际电影节主办方在为即将于今年6月14日开幕的第11届上海国际电影节举行的推介会上宣布, 曾因成功执导《英国病人()》而荣获9项奥斯卡大奖的英国著名导演安东尼-明格拉应邀担任第11届上海国际电影节”金爵奖”评委会主席。为此，导演安东尼-明格拉特发致辞，致辞全文如下：

　　能够担任今年上海国际电影节的评委会主席，我感到十分骄傲。一直以来，我对中国都怀有特殊的情感。这不仅仅因为我的太太是个中国人,而且她教会了我尊重和欣赏中国文化的各个领域。我热爱中国电影已经许多年了，并且与很多杰出的中国电影人成为了朋友，其中包括陈凯歌，张艺谋以及姜文。我的这些导演朋友，同王家卫以及所有其他有才华的中国导演和演员一起，使整个世界影坛呈现出丰富多彩的格局。因此，我万分荣幸能够造访上海，在这个国际平台上探讨电影艺术。我期待着今年六月与你们相会在上海。

　　I am extremely proud to be invited to chair the Jury for this year's Shanghai International Film Festival. China has always held special meaning for me, not least because my wife is from a Chinese family in Hong Kong, and she has taught me to respect and appreciate many aspects of Chinese culture. I have been an admirer of the Chinese cinema for many years and have met and befriended many extraordinary film-makers, including Chen Kaige, Zhang Yimou and Jiang Wen. These directors, along with Wong Kar Wai and a whole host of talented film-makers, actors and actresses, have enriched world cinema, and so it is an honor to visit Shanghai to celebrate cinema from around the world. I look forward to meeting you in Shanghai in June.
