Huang Minxuan

National Primary Dancer
Huang Minxuan joined the National Ballet of China in 1963 since his graduation at the Beijing Dance School in the same year. His repertoire with the company includes New Year's Sacrifice, Sylvia, Maid of the Sea, Sons and Daughters of the Grassland, etc. From 1982 to 1984, he studied at the Department of Choreography of Beijing Dance Academy, while still working with the company. In late 80's, he worked as guest director at CCTV and BTV, where he directed numerous evening shows, soirees, scenery films and biographical films. After coming back to the company, he served as director of dancers'department from 1992 to 1999. Huang was appointed as deputy director of the company in 1999 and worked at his post until now.
In August of 2004, he was appointed as the Secretary of Party Committee of National Ballet of China by the Ministry of Culture.
