Wang Caijun
Deputy Secretary of Party Committee,Ballet Master
Wang Caijun graduated with flying colours from Beijing Dance Academy in 1978 and joined the National Ballet of China the following year.He has danced all the principal roles in the repertoire of the company,including classical ballets,Swan Lake,Sylvia,Giselle,Don Quixote,La Fille Mal Gardee,Romeo and Juliet and Chinese ballets Maid of the Sea,the New-Year Sacrifice,The Red Detachment of Women.
In recent years,he has been working as ballet master and assistant choreographer.At his post he has trained many excellent dancers for the NBC. He has also taken charge of the adaptation work on the new version of Swan Lake.Since 1996,he has major involvement in company's productions of Don Quixote,Variation for Four,Allegro Brilliant,Four Last Songs,Le Corsaire, Chairman Dancers and full length Chinese ballet Raise the Red Lantern In August 2005 he was appointed as the Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of National Ballet of China by the Ministry of Culture.
