历史是直线进步的吗？还是轮回的？倒退的？有关未来，人类为什么审慎而多虑？我们不是历史学家，我们是一群行动主义者，相信“艺术并无进步可言”。我们前行，朝着无目的的方向，背负着沉重的过去。通过回忆，我们与未来相遇。
《回忆未来》是一组由若干短诗构成的诗剧断片，演绎人类因互联网的兴起而带来的全球一体化状况所引发的精神迷思。过量的无用信息，通过网络扫过人们的大脑，人类不堪其累。为了保持记忆的纯净和睡梦的愉悦，人类发明了信息清洁工，负责清理人们大脑中的那些网络信息垃圾，她/他分拣、筛选、过滤、擦抹、美化、抚慰……
当诗歌遇到戏剧，当语言流过身体，当节奏唤醒音乐，当现场被图像改写，对未来的回忆就是此在的声音、肢体与图像的瞬间遇合。
《回忆未来》以幻想性的诗剧为蓝本，新影像艺术家设计舞台，通过舞者、乐手、影像艺术家的即兴演绎，将与观者一同阐释一个有关时间与记忆的主题。

A Text that Crosses Boundaries
Does history progress in a straight line? In cycles? In reverse? Why are people anxious and cautious about the future? We’re not historians; we’re a group of activists who believe that “art never improves。” We move forward, looking in directions without purpose, and carrying the heavy past with us. We encounter the future through the act of remembering.
Remembering the Future is a poetry performance composed of several short poems. It explores the spiritual confusion that has been triggered by the global homogenization engendered by the emergence of the Internet. Excessive information sweeps through people’s minds because of the Internet, and people cannot endure their fatigue. In order to preserve the purity of memory and the happiness of dreams, people developed the occupation of “mind-cleaner。” These workers are responsible for cleansing the garbage in people’s minds through sorting, screening, filtering out, beautification, and comfort…
When poetry encounters theater, when language flows through the body, when rhythm awakens music, and when theater is revised by images, memories of the future are the present sounds, and the ephemeral coming together of the body and images.
Remembering the Future utilizes fantasy poetry theater as its blueprint, with a stage designed by installation artists. Together with the audience, the performers interpret a topic related to time and memory through the improvisational explorations of dancers, musicians, and visual artists.
