Maral Yakshieva (1968, Chardzhou, Turkmenistan). Composer, pianist and improviser, resident in Russia (Moscow). Mrs. Yahshieva studied composition with prof. Redjep Allayarov and piano with prof. Orazgul Annamuradova at the State Conservatory of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat from 1988-95 and there graduated with a diploma of excellence in both subjects. She then studied composition with Albert Leman in the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory from 1995-1997. She has also attended masterclasses in Austria, France and the Czech Republic. Her honors include the Makhtumkuli State Scholarship in Ashgabat (1993)， two honorary diplomas from the Ministry of Education in Ashgabat (1993, 1995) and three grants from the Open Society Institute in Moscow (1999, 2004). Her music and has been performed in Europe, Asia and USA, including Festivals of Japanese Music in Moscow, Ilhom Festival for contemporary music, Ostrava new days, the Moscow Autumn festival, Europe-Asia. As a pianist, she has performed contemporary pieces and improvisations with Anthony Braxton, Thomas Buckner, Roscue Mitchell, Marcues Schtochausen and Tara Bouman, Grensco Istvan, Lidia Kavina and others. 玛雅·雅克谢娃，俄罗斯著名作曲家、钢琴家和即兴演奏家。1968年生于土库曼斯坦查尔朱市，现居住俄罗斯莫斯科。1988-1995年，在土库曼斯坦音乐学院学习期间，师从雷洁普·埃雷亚罗夫教授学习作曲，师从欧拉兹古勒·安娜穆拉多夫教授学习钢琴。并且以双优异的成绩毕业。1995-1997年，在莫斯科柴可夫斯基音乐学院，师从阿尔伯特·莱曼教授学习作曲。此后，还前往法国、澳大利亚、捷克等国参加音乐大师班。雅克谢娃1993年获得土库曼斯坦马克图库利国家奖学金，1993和1995年两次获得土库曼斯坦教育部荣誉勋章，1999-2004年三次享受莫斯科社会开放研究院政府补贴。她的音乐已经在欧洲、亚洲和美国等地演出，其中包括莫斯科的日本音乐节，启发现代音乐节，新奥斯特拉法音乐节，莫斯科秋季艺术节，欧亚音乐节。作为一名钢琴家，她已经与很多名家一起表演和即兴演奏，其中包括：安东尼·布拉克斯顿、托马斯·巴克、热斯科·米切尔、马库·斯托克豪森、塔拉·伯曼、戈然斯科·伊斯特娃、莉迪亚·卡维娜等。
