The Ballet is based on a poem by Byron,the famous British poet.The story happened when Turkey invaded Greece.
Conrad,a chief pirate was saved by Medora,a young Greek girl from shipwreck.Medora was capturedby Isaac,a slave-dealer.
When she was just being purchased by the Pasha in the bazaar,Conrad who pretended to be a rich merchant saved her,and they fell in love with each other.Birbanto,Conrad's lieutenant,a greedy and jealous man tried to plot against Conrad.Under the help of Ali,Conrad's assistant,justice won over wickedness finally.Conrad and Medora met again sailing away happily.
