Soloist
Wang Qi graduated from The Dance Academy affiliated to Shenyang Music Conservatory.From 1998 to 2002 she was an soloist in Guangzhou Ballet.In 2002, Wang joined the National Ballet of China.With the company, she has performed in ballets like:Swan Lake,Giselle,Romeo and Juliet,Le Corsaire,Camellia, Nutcracker,Raise the Red Lantern,Fountain of Tear,The Red Detachment of Women, etc.
In August 1997 she won the prize of excellence at the 6th Asian Ballet Competition in Japan.In August 2000,she was awarded the silver prize at the 19th Varna International Ballet Competition.
