　　故事梗概：

　　守财奴艾柏纳泽可以说是英国最贪婪的人了。他对任何人都没有仁慈和同情心，并且极力地避免各种应酬。

　　在圣诞夜前夕，他看到了他死去的生意伙伴雅各布·马利的鬼魂，他提醒艾柏纳泽他的救赎将取决于三个鬼魂给予他的训示。

　　那个夜晚，守财奴经过勇敢的冒险，开始意识到：要做出改变永远不会太晚。

　　作为一个非盈利的文化组织，狄更斯剧团自成立起，一直秉承着“积极出品专业独立艺术家作品，大力支持澳大利亚艺术产业发展”的宗旨。自06年成立的5年间，鹰巢向观众呈现的戏剧作品超过45部，这也使得鹰巢成为墨尔本最多产的剧场。

　　艺术一直被视为一种交流媒介，通过艺术，不同的思想交汇碰撞，不同的文化对话交流。时至2009年，鹰巢剧团赴美，在马萨诸塞州和纽约进行了原创剧演出。

　　去年，德国科学研究艺术部向鹰巢发出邀请，波斯尼亚区的英国文化委员会也给予了支持，剧团首次踏上了欧洲。

　　目前，除了在澳大利亚固定的演出，鹰巢剧团还参加了4个正在进行的国际交流项目。

　　Synopsis

　　Ebenezer Scroogemay be the greediest man in England.He has no charity or sympathy for anyone and takes great joy in avoiding socialengagements。

　　On Christmas Eve,he is haunted by a vision of his deceased business partner, Jacob Marley whowarns that his salvation depends on heeding the lessons of three ghosts thatwill come his way。

　　That night, asScrooge ventures forth he begins to see that it’s never too late to make achange。

　　Eagle’s Nest theatre is not-for-profit culturalorganisation which opened its door with the mission statement "producingthe work of professional independent artists and supporting the development ofthe arts industry in Australia".In the 5 years since opening our doors, Eagle’s Nest theatre has brought morethan 45 different theatrical productions to the stage, easily making usMelbourne’s most prolific theatre company. The arts have long been recognisedas a medium for the meeting of different minds and cross cultural dialogue andin 2009 Eagle’s Nest theatre decided it was time to reach out beyond theborders of Australia.That year Eagle’s Nest theatre mounted a tour of one of our original works tothe USA with the tourincluding performances in Massachusetts and New York. Last year onan invitation from the state of Baden Wurtemburg (Germany)and with the support of the British Council in Bosnia we undertook our firstEuropean Tour. Now as well as having a permanent ensemble in Australia,Eagle's Nest is at the centre of 4 ongoing international exchange programs。
