  Rules for Satisfaction Survey on Public Images of Global Performing Celebrities in 2009

  Chapter 1 Generals

  Article 1 To promote building of social responsibility in global performing circle and improvement of the performers’ quality as well as the enhancement of the international exchange, Global Talents media together with some other famous survey agencies from the Unites States, the United Kingdom and France are invited to initiate “the satisfaction survey on public images of global performing celebrities”, thusly providing awards for competition of public images to good works and excellent performing workers by way of survey and awarding of honor. 

  Article 2 The satisfaction survey on public images of global performing celebrities (hereinafter referred to as “Huading Award Performer Satisfaction Survey”) is a non-profit-making public survey undertaken by China amusement satisfaction survey authority agency –“Lansion International Survey”.  

  Article 3 Huading Award Performer Satisfaction Survey shall be conducted on a yearly basis, in which the judge shall maintain the objective and justness of the survey and appraisal by abiding by the neutral rules of comments。

  Article 4  Significance of satisfaction

  The audience satisfaction is an important criterion in measuring the performers’ works quality and social image, and also a significant measurement to test whether the performer has satisfied the audience demand and achieved audience satisfaction. The significance to measure the satisfaction indicator of performer public images is mainly reflected by three areas, including the social significance, the audience significance and the performer significance. 

  Chapter 2 Award settings and submission for public appraisal

  Article 5  Setting and number of honors for Huading Award Global Satisfaction Survey

  1、Actor of annual global top achievement;

  2、Actress of annual global top achievement;

  3、World top performer of commercial value honor;

  4、World top 10 performers of public image;

  5、First prize of satisfaction survey on public images of Chinese performing celebrities;

  6、First prize of satisfaction survey on public images of American performing celebrities;

  7、First prize of satisfaction survey on public images of British performing celebrities;

  8、First prize of satisfaction survey on public images of French performing celebrities;

  9、First prize of satisfaction survey on public images of Japanese performing celebrities;

  10、First prize of satisfaction survey on public images of Korean performing celebrities;

  11、China top 10 performers of public image performance;

  12、US top 10 performers of public image performance;

  13、UK top 10 performers of public image performance

  14、France top 10 performers of public image performance

  15、Japan top 10 performers of public image performance

  16、Korea top 10 performers of public image performance

  Article 6  Scope of survey and distribution of numbers

  The proposed session of survey is mainly targeted at the film and television performer, film director, singer and dancer in China, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Japan and Korea, totaling up to six hundred persons, with following principles to be followed for distribution of survey numbers:

  1、The number of performers and directors involved in the said survey in each country shall not be more than 100;

  2、Among the performers and directors participated in the survey in each country, numbers of the film and television performers shall not be less than 50, directors not less than 10, singers not less than 30 and dancers not less than 10。

  Article 7  Eligibility of participation in survey

  1、Chinese performers, directors and anchorpersons aged between 16 and 70 engaged or will engage in public professional and social activities from August 1st of last year to July 31st of this year;

  2、Have some certain social influences and good fame in the public (to be measured in accordance with the work scope of their dissemination platform);

  3、Have prominent performance of social responsibility and the spirit of fair competitiveness;

  4、Special occurrences, such as performers, directors and anchorpersons with illegal act and sharply negative news, can also be included into the survey, provided that such case can be of education and warning significance;

  5、Surveyees can only select only one item from the available professions like film and television performer, singer, folk art performer, drama player, singer, director and anchorperson; concurrent selection of two professions for survey is not permitted;

  6、Any surveyees forging or concealing relevant survey information, if found, shall be automatically deprived of their eligibility of survey and awards, if any。

  Article 8  Mode of survey

  1、500 of the American, British, French, Japanese and Korean performing celebrities will be selected in the first round sampling screening by the designated survey agency from 5000 performers’ samples available at the world performing celebrities data center as the primary election objects;

  2、Top 100 film and TV performers, directors, singers and dancers on the announced all-time list of China satisfaction survey shall be nominated to enter the 600 global satisfaction survey rankings after reviewed by the jury, in which top 10 China candidates will not be additionally awarded in China;
