　　故事梗概 ：

　　小男孩保利擅长跑步，但数学却要补考。虽然父嗜酒去世、母卧病在床，连哥哥也有轻微智障，但他却从来不放弃希望。在他人步行朝圣之际，保利决定从哥但斯克市跑去琴斯托霍瓦朝拜黑色圣母像，以求奇迹发生，使得因贫困无法医病的母亲早日康复。善良的保利能否感动圣母玛利亚？影片的结尾会带给您一个意想不到的答案。波兰导演托马什•维什涅夫斯基第三部编导合一的作品，延续了上一部影片《乱世老少》的人间温情主题。

　　Synopsis:

　　Paulie is a schoolboy good at running, but bad at maths, which he has to take a repeat exam. Though his alcoholic father is dead of drinking, his mother is terribly sick in bed, and his brother is a little bit retarded, he never gives up hope. When the rest of people take the pilgrimage, Paulie decides to run all the way from Gdańsk to Częstochowa to worship the Black Madonna in the hope of a miracle which helps his mother to recover. Will the Virgin Mary be touched by kind-hearted Paulie? Wearing tears and smiles, you will get a surprising ending. This is the third film both written and directed by Polish director Tomasz Wiszniewski, and his sixth film since he started production. Along with the heart-warming theme from his last film Where Eskimos Live (2002), this is also an attractive one that warms you up in this cool autumn day.
