经国家广电总局、国家民政部、中国广播电视协会批准，中国广播电视协会电视剧导演工作委员会，于2008年5月12日正式注册成立。

　　中国电视剧导演工作委员会，是中国广播电视协会领导下的专业协会，是中国电视业最具专业性、权威性的行业组织。

　　电视剧导演工作委员会的基本职能是：

　　1、辅助政府履行行业管理、行业服务职能，推动电视行业健康、良性发展，繁荣电视剧创作；

　　2、对电视剧艺术、现象、成果及发展方向进行探讨、评析、交流；创办中国电视剧导演论坛、亚洲电视剧导演论坛、导演优秀作品研讨会等活动，以各种方式对电视剧创作、产业态势、会员作品等进行多方面研讨；

　　3、设立“导演委员会奖”，每年对全国电视剧创作、生产成果进行评析，对优秀电视剧作品及优秀创作者和从业人员予以褒奖；

　　4、以法律手段和其它合法有效的方式维护中国电视剧导演的正当权益，维护职业声誉和行业利益，并为会员提供法律服务；

　　5、配合国家主管部门对从业导演进行调查、评估、认证，重视年轻导演的发现、培养与推举，积极促进电视剧导演队伍的发展；

　　6、强化行业自律意识，完善职业准则，规范行业行为，树立中国电视剧导演良好的职业形象，并以适当和有效的手段整肃行业不良行为；

　　7、建立本会内部通报制度，对违背行业规范和社会公德的不良行为和行为人给予通报，必要时公示于媒体；

　　8、积极促进与电视剧产业相关的其它社会团体、组织的交流，加强两岸四地导演的沟通，开展积极有效的国际交流与合作，不定期组织会员进行国外访问、考察和学术交流活动；

　　9、设立本会专业网站和会刊，陆续建设会员需要的其它服务平台，为会员提供信息咨询、宣传推广、作品发行、版权代理、经纪代理等其它必要的服务；

　　10、积极开展职业和行业培训，推举行业新人，促进人才交流。

　　本会会则是：团结、自律、交流、发展。

　　英文介绍：About China Association for Television Drama Directors

　　Upon the approval of the State Administration of Radio Film and Television, Ministry of Civil Affairs, and China Radio and Television Association, China Association for Television Drama Directors was officially registered on May 12, 2008。

　　Under the direct administration of China Radio and Television Association, China Association for Television Drama Directors is the most professional, and authoritative organization in TV industry boasting the most talented, and gifted TV drama directors. It mainly functions in the following areas:

　　1.   Perform the functions of managing and serving the industry as a supplement to the government. Promote the healthy and sustainable development of TV industry and the creation of new TV dramas。

　　2.   Discuss, commend and exchange views on the arts, facts, achievements and development directions of TV Drama. Set up China Forum for TV Drama Directors, Asian Forum of TV Drama Directors, seminars on excellent works to explore different facets of TV Drama production, the industry and members’ products。

　　3.   Set up “TTCSD Award”. Make a review every year of TV Drama and award outstanding TV Drama and professionals。

　　4.   Safeguard the legitimate rights of China’s TV Drama directors; uphold the reputation and interests of the TV industry through legal means and other legitimate means. Provide members with legal service。

　　5.   Help government departments in charge of the industry; investigate, evaluate and certify directors. Pay attention to the discovery cultivation and promotion of young directors. Actively promote the development of TV Drama directors。

　　6.   Step up the awareness of self-discipline within the industry, improve the standards of the industry, maintain the good reputation of China TV Drama directors and punish improper conduct。

　　7. Establish an information platform within the committee which will provide early warnings on those who engage in improper conduct and expose their actions to the public media if necessary。

　　8.   Encourage and promote efficient communication between different TV industry groups within the greater China region. (Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau) And organize overseas business trips and training exchanges for the committee members。

　　9.   Set up the official website and publish materials. Continually improve our ability to serve according to the needs of committee members, such as consulting, advertising, publishing, and serving as an agent。

　　10. Provide industry specific training; promote excellent individuals and help human resources function smoothly。
